Northwest Elementary qualifies to receive Title 1, Part A funds under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Title 1 eligibility is based on the number of students in our school from low-income families. Our school staff work with input from parents and the local community to develop a School-wide Plan with the purpose to improve the entire educational program.
As an important partner in our effort to provide the best education possible for your child, you will be kept informed about your child’s academic progress throughout the school year and the progress the school is making toward helping all children meet high academic standards.
Additionally, you will also receive invitations to meetings to discuss the Title 1 School-wide Program, Title 1 activities, and be asked to assist in the development, revision, and implementation of Northwest’s School-wide Program Plan.
